With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather at the age of 90.
A man who embraced life, loved his family, friends and a good joke that always began with "this is a true story."
You will forever be in our hearts.
Rest in peace.

Dad, soon again it’s your birthday. The first since you went away. I wish we could have said goodbye, Before your soul began to fly. To well-earned peace beside the ones. You grieved for and missed so long. In the other realm with our “Boo” That’s how I picture you. I carry your memory the lessons taught and the love we share, As I travel wild rugged places you held so dear. We will meet again, I have no doubt. The past and the pain our hearts without. My deepest sympathy to my dear Aunt Monica and my cousins as Uncle has passed on from this life. Uncle was kind to me when I was younger and I will cherish our last conversation as we reminisced about his days in Guyana. Rest in Peace Uncle. I remember meeting Dr. Sobharam Singh when I was just an early teenager. He was so vibrant, positive and charismatic. He was a very thoughtful, supportive and welcoming man even to young people he would first meet. He appreciated working out and the virtues of health and fitness combined with a very good education and cultured background. I can see how he instilled strong family values to all he held close to him. - Posted by: Tat-Liang Cheam (family friend) on: Jul 14, 2022
