ALLEN JOHN JOHNSON
After a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's, Allen John Johnson (Al), born December 18, 1945, peacefully passed away at Riverview Health Centre on March 29, 2020, with family by his side.
Al is survived by his wife of 50 years, Val; son Robert (Kerri), grandson Thomas, great-granddaughter Matilda and granddaughter Raina; daughter Cyndy (Ray Geske) and grandsons, Ryan and Kyle; brothers, Len, Leroy; sisters, Margaret, Elaine (Denis Cyr); sisters-in-law, Carol and Charlene; mother-in-law Doris Thorkelson; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Sharon), Frank (Joan), Donald (Wendy), 24 nieces, nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Tavia Johnson; brother Norman; father-in-law Edwin; brothers-in-law, Greg and Grant Thorkelson; Mel Johnson; sisters-in-law, Karen and Joyce Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer Society or Riverview Health Centre in Allen's memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Thomson "In the Park", 1291 McGillivray Boulevard on July 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
