EMILY (MINNIE) MARCINA
January 17, 1933 - July 8, 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and baba at the age of 89.
Minnie was predeceased by her parents, Roman and Annie, siblings, Steve, Olga, Mary, Mike, and Walter, her beloved husband Walter and her son-in-law Scott Wilkinson.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Donna Wilkinson, grand-daughter Laura (Kyle) Katch, her precious great-granddaughter Ava Katch, fur babies, Layla and Candie, and several neighbourhood friends.
Minnie was raised in Elma, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg in 1948. She and Walter were married in 1958 and lived in Transcona most of her life. She worked numerous places including MTS, Safeway, Woolco, and Merchants Consolidated, before retiring in 1981.
As per Minnie's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
Special thanks to Dr. Dennis Caners for his many years of kind and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
Donna, so sorry for the loss of your mom. I have fond memories growing up in Transcona of your mom coming to visit my mom for coffee before I was in school. And on Saturday nights, when our parents got together, your mom and dad would always set me up with Coke and chips and Hockey Night in Canada while they visited. So many great memories.
