ALFRED JACK LUTZ
Peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Concordia Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Alfred Lutz, aged 86 years.
Alfred leaves to mourn his passing his children, Kevin Lutz (Karin) of Vancouver, BC, Blair Lutz (Alice) of Dugald, MB and Alison Wishnowski (Rod Samson) of Oakbank, MB, his grandchildren, Jordan Lutz (Cayle), Jared Slessor-Lutz (Ayla), Jenna Lutz, Jody Lutz (Richard Borden), Logan Wishnowski, Shyanne Wishnowski (Gord Grafeneder) and Tanner Wishnowski and his great-grandchildren, Alyvia, Elyse, Zackary, Joshua, Victoria, Bennett and Leo as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Alfred was predeceased by his wife Emily in 2017.
Alfred had a long career with Centra Gas Manitoba. In his younger years he was very active in both the Masons and Khartum Shriners, where he played the trumpet in the pipe and drum unit and enjoyed the comradery of many close friends. A very special part of Alfred's life was spending time at the family cottage at Pickerel Lake, Ontario where he especially enjoyed fishing and entertaining friends and family.
A private family service for Alfred is being held on July 27, 2022, in Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations in Alfred's memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children (donate.lovetotherescue.org).
