Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD: Lena Donald-Steelman, Saskatchewan, April 27, 1923 – Brandon, Manitoba, July 21, 2022. With sadness, the family of Lena Donald wish to share the news of her peaceful passing at Hillcrest Personal Care Home on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She is survived by her children: Lawrence (Brenda), Norma (Wayne) and Sandra (Ian); six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by her youngest son and Sandra's twin, Orville, in 1982 and her husband William (Bill) in 2001 and all but one of her 12 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Complete obituary to follow. Her family will cherish her memory privately.

What a lengthy life! I recall Lena at Knox and at Hillcrest when Jack lived there for a time. I had no idea that she came from such a large family! As a tribute to her I am sending a donation to "MSF" which J & I have supported regularly for many years and they are in dire need of extra help now. i hope this will be appropriate in that you have helpers in your family. The curve of her life in this space is closed now and i imagine the family is at peace with her coming to rest. As you say "farewell" be well amongst yourselves.
