KATHRINA SAWATZKY
December 11, 1933 – July 24, 2022

On Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 7:15 p.m., surrounded by family, Kathrina peacefully slipped into eternity at the De Salaberry & District Health Centre, St-Pierre-Jolys, MB. While she was unwell for about a year, she only suffered in great pain for a couple of days.
Kathrina is survived by ten sons and five daughters and their spouses: Willy (Irmgard), Jash (Anna), Lydia, Ben (Dorcas), Ruben (Martha), Richard (Janet), Wilfred (Shirley), Werner (Janet), Mika (Ben), Arthur (Sher), Regina (Gary), Lottie (Martin), Albert (Christie), Alfred (Jenny), Darlene (Rob), as well as two brothers and one sister, 69 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. In total her family numbers 142.
She was predeceased by her husband Johann (2005) one son-in-law, two brothers, two sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
The funeral will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Niverville Community Fellowship, Niverville, MB., with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville, MB.
