(nee CURTIS)
March 18, 1929 – July 30, 2022
Audrey Kraushar passed away peacefully on July 30, 2022, at the age of 93.
Audrey grew up on a farm in the Dugald, MB area. She attended Meadowvale School, Dugald High School, and Success Commercial College. She did secretarial and other office work for Western Canada Motors and CN/CP Telecommunications before marrying Robert Kraushar in 1949. Rob and Audrey began their life together on the farm near Dugald and started their family. When Rob desired a career change, they moved to North Kildonan, and Audrey was employed as a secretary with the Audit Office of the provincial government while Rob attended training and became employed. Raising a family and working full- or part-time continued until her retirement from Park Manor Personal Care Home where she had spent an enjoyable ten years as office secretary. After retirement Audrey volunteered for various organizations and individuals.
She is survived by her son Earl, his wife June, and their sons Bryce (Melina), Dwayne (Sarah, great- grandson Grayson) and Evan; daughter Janis, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Audrey was predeceased by husband Robert, parents Harold and Clare Curtis, sister Kathleen Pearcy and two foster children.
Audrey was a faithful member of the Henderson Highway Seventh-day Adventist Church where she enjoyed the fellowship of many good friends and participated in the programs and activities of the church. She also served many terms as a member and Chair of the Church School Board.
The family would like to thank the staff of Park Manor Care for their loving care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date.

I met Audrey at the beginning of my journey with my husband Bernie in 1987 while she was secretary at Park Manor Personal Care Home. Along with her husband Rob, she was always good, kind, and decent to my husband and me as we wed. Bernie always spoke highly of her as a person, a Christian, and always complimented her ability to write professional letters old school. There was no one like Audrey Kraushar he would say. This is before computer times. I did visit Audrey in Park Manor Care early this year after Bernie’s passing and it was comforting to see her. She was pointing out her family pictures on her wall. She was proud and was very aware that day. It is hard to say good bye but she waits for all who loved her to come where she be. I give my sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Lynn Gmiterek (Known to our family, a co-worker of and congregational friend in Faith to my husband Bernie) on: Aug 29, 2022
