Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Linda was an incredible mentor to me when I was just starting out in the agriculture industry and a new government role. She was full of initiative when it came to learning new things. She told me once to always be open to change. We may not like it but it’s better than being left behind. She was supportive towards me and she was even more supportive when I decided to leave the government job to move to Australia. We kept in touch over the years and she was always interested in what I was up to. She was always great to have a chat to and had the hardiest laugh! I am so shocked to hear of her passing. I’m sending all my love to her family, friends, and to our old MAFRI EC community. - Posted by: Carling Henderson (Co-worker MB Ag) on: Aug 31, 2022

  • Always positive, and a great help to all. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with her over the years. I think of the many times she calmly came to the rescue when technology was not quite working. Thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Mike Kagan (Co-worker Manitoba Ag) on: Aug 23, 2022

  • I was shocked and saddened to hear of Linda’s passing. We worked together for almost 34 years in the Dept and she taught me so much, especially when it came to computers, she was the queen of technology!! She was always patient and kind and always had a minute to listen to my problems. I know how much she loved her family and I always enjoyed seeing the new pictures of her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed! ♥️♥️ - Posted by: Gwenda Skayman (Co-worker Manitoba Ag (Hamiota)) on: Aug 21, 2022
