MOIRA ISOBEL TINDALL
(nee MACKENZIE)
September 25, 1927 August 26, 2022
Mom passed away peacefully on August 26, 2022.
Moira was the youngest of five children. She was predeceased by her husband Bill, sons, Ted and Glen, and son-in-law Robert Guerette. She leaves behind her daughter Tannis, and niece Moira Graham whom she considered as another daughter. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Joan Radford as well as her many other nieces and nephews.
Mom was born on Furby Street in Winnipeg. She attended Daniel MacIntyre Collegiate and then graduated from Success Business College. She worked for a Winnipeg law firm, the Manitoba Government and finally for Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting where she met Bill. They were married in 1951.
Moira had many interests. Both she and Bill were sports enthusiasts, enjoying tennis, badminton, golf and curling. She was also an avid reader, crossword fan and bridge player which kept her sharp right until the end.
The family was transferred to Flin Flon in 1969 and Mom took up curling which she enjoyed for over 30 years. Many lasting friendships were made there.
Her favourite place was her cottage at Minaki, Ontario where she spent 36 years expanding and renovating the cottage as well as having good times with family and friends.
Heartfelt thanks to those who took care of Mom at Golden Links Lodge during the last year. She was especially fond of her nurse Helena who took such awesome care of her.
According to Mom's wishes, there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place, and interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Tannis, I was saddened to learn of your mother's passing. However, she did live a long and active life. She and your father Bill were such good friends to me during the years Bill and I worked together at HBM&S and I really needed the support they gave me when we were transferred to Flin Flon. It was always great to hear from her over the years and be able to catch up. My deepest sympathy to you on your loss. - Posted by: Kent Morgan (Friend) on: Aug 28, 2022
