KAREN GILLIES
She smiled and cracked jokes until the very end, but after fighting with all of her heart and soul, Karen passed away peacefully September 13, 2022, at 11:18 a.m., surrounded by friends and family.
Karen has touched too many lives to list. She'll be forever loved by all including her children, Jack (Leyla) and Nick (Carly), her granddaughter Ayla, her siblings, Ellen (Ed), Ollie (Gene) and Victor (Mary), her protector and great friend of 20 years Roger and her bff Suzette (Kevin).

An upbeat celebration of Karen's life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, located at 3030 Notre Dame Ave.
