WILLIAM DEAN MCDONALD
January 21, 1961 - September 25, 2022

Surrounded by love, near and far, Dean set out on his journey to the Next Place on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Keeping him close in their hearts are his "bride" Heather, son Tanner (Kaitlyn), son Reed (Jodi); grandkids, Ava and Jack; mom Tanis; sisters, Kim and Lee and their families, and the Feilberg families. Dean was predeceased by his dad Donnie, as well as much loved family members and friends.
Born in Pine Falls, MB, Dean later moved to Whitemouth for the remainder of his school years. Always competitive, Dean participated in track and field, baseball, curling, and fishing - achieving success at all levels. Dean developed a passion for fishing after spending much time on the water with his Grandpa and Dad.
Most of Dean's work life was with Sunterra Horticulture as plant manager and then as vice president of operations. Dean developed strong friendships with his work family as he helped to build the company from the ground up, both in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Dean had numerous loves, some of which were: *"Going to Gun" to spend time with family and friends, especially August Long Reunions, *trips to Naples to golf with his Bear's Paw gang, *walks with Lewis, *Pepsi and sweets. Above all else, Dean loved his family.
We would like to offer our gratitude to the medical professionals at CancerCare MB and the medical staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Whitemouth Recreation Centre, Whitemouth, MB.
For those who wish to do so, please consider making a donation to: Bethesda Regional Health Centre, CancerCare Program, 316 Henry St., Steinbach, MB, R5G 0P9.
