ALDERSON: Yvonne Marie Alderson (Innes) passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022. She was born on June 10, 1963 in Swan River, MB and was raised in Swan Valley. Yvonne's passion and love was her horses. She was talented, fierce and carefree, this showed through in her talent of trick riding and barrel racing. Among those talents she was also blessed with an amazing voice, she loved to sing with her sister and her daughter. Yvonne was an excellent cook and baker; she had a special talent for bread making. She was a strong willed and independent woman. After moving to the Brandon area in her mid-teens she met the love of her life and spent the rest of her years with her loving husband. They raised three children and have four beautiful grandkids. She is predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Flora ann Innes. She leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Duane Alderson; children and grandchildren: Carl Fowler (Angela Fowler). Derek Innes (Suelee Innes), Lanaya and Novalee. Christie Fowler (Chad Anderson), Shay-Lee and Daxson. Her best friend and sister, Joanne Innes (Eric Albertini) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family and friends. A Celebration of Yvonne's Life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332 8th Street, Brandon, MB on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
