DR. ARVIND ANAND KATI
September 27, 1932 - October 13, 2022
We announce with deep sorrow and empty hearts the peaceful passing of our dearly beloved Arvind at home, October 13, 2022.
Arvind was born in Kaliro, Uganda, East Africa to the Late Shanta and Late Dr. Anand Manjunath Kati. He spent most of his childhood days living in Jinja, later moving to India, Ireland for Medicine and finally settling in Canada in 1970.
Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy, is the love of his life of 47 years, Nancy, his brother Jagdish, his children: Shane, Josephine, Neela (Kevin), and grandchildren: Jordynn, Derian, Tristen, Rio and Kairo.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all those who took the time to see Arvind both in the hospital and at home.
Cremation has taken place and a service to celebrate Arvind's life was held October 20, 2022 at Thomson "In the Park". Please honour Arvind's memory by going to the Dignity Memorial Website for his service video, photographs and book of condolence.

Doctor Kati was my family doctor in St. Norbert. Him and his wife Nancy were my doctor until his retirement. He was a great doctor. He will be missed my everyone that knew him. He lived a great life. Can’t believe he’s gone rip doctor Kati. Sorry for your loss Nancy and family. We treated Dr. Kati, Nancy like family. I didn’t even know he was sick or I would of gone to see him. It is very sad news hearing of Dr. Kati’s passing. He was my family doctor years ago for several years. Him and Nancy were very near and dear to me and my family, even attending each others’ family wedding socials. We have lost an incredible doctor and gentleman that had great bedside manner, a sense of humour and a beautiful heart. Our sympathies to Nancy and the kids for your loss. I am very sorry to hear of Dr. Kati's passing. He was my doctor for a number of years and the best doctor I have ever had. He had such a great 'bedside' manner, always friendly and had time to chat.
