ANDREW (ANDY) RAYMOND GESKE


Andrew Raymond Geske peacefully passed away on October 20, 2022, with his family by his side.
Andy leaves to mourn his three sons, Michael, Raymond (Cyndy) and Glenn; grandsons, Ryan and Kyle; his two brothers, William (Bill) and Russell (Marilyn); his two sisters, Gail Wilson (Tom) and Linda Bilakowski (Stan), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Andy was predeceased by his wife, Joan Geske (nee Telecki) in 1983; his parents, Charles and Minnie Geske and lifelong friend, Sandy Thompson.
Andy worked much of his life in the transportation industry first driving truck and then driving bus for Grey Goose / Greyhound Bus Lines. After more than 40 years and more than two million miles, Andy retired in 2003 to spend time with his family.
Andy was a dedicated Bomber fan and Jets fan spending many evenings watching the games with his brother Bill. Andy also loved to spend time with his family camping in the Whiteshell.
Andy was also a Legion member (#4) since 1972 and a former member of R.C.A.F. Aux 402 squadron from 1955 to 1957.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Diabetes Canada and/or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue.
