December 2, 1932 - November 16, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Anne Unger announces her passing on November 16, 2022, just a couple weeks shy of her 90th birthday.
Anne will be greatly missed by her sons, James and Mark (Susan Hales), as well as her grandsons, Ryle and Ethan.
Anne was born in southern Manitoba and spent most of her life in Winnipeg. She was married to her husband Neil for 64 years before his passing. Anne was a nurse and worked most of her career at the Misericordia Hospital on the pediatric ward, making many lifelong friendships with coworkers. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as baking and gardening. She also loved to travel, spending many winters in Arizona.
There will be no service per Anne's wishes and she will be laid to rest with Neil at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery.

Dear James, Mark, Susan, Ryle and Ethan, We are sending love and hugs. Auntie Anne was a special lady and we had many good times with her. Mom and Auntie Anne enjoyed visiting on the phone and kept in touch with our families this way. We will all miss her. Condolences go out to the family. I met Neil and Anne through my husband, Gerald Friesen (Fritz). Fritz’s dad was Neil’s nephew yet they were close in age. They spent a lot of time at my in-law’s, Ben and Helen Friesen. They were a pleasure to visit with.
