Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I knew John mostly through stories my sister Margaret, from Headingley United Church, mentioned from time to time. When I did encounter him in person, he was always a gentle spirit with a good sense of humour. More recently, we passed time at Cancer Care Manitoba where we chatted and discussed our common interests. Our world has lost a good person. - Posted by: Ann Pedersen (acqauintence) on: Nov 24, 2022

  • I worked with John at WRHA and valued his knowledge, professionalism, gentle manner, and personal approach. We would often get off-topic, demonstrating his genuine interest in others. I know these feelings are shared by many. My condolences to John's family and friends. May peace be with John and with all of you. - Posted by: Trish Bergal (Former Colleague) on: Nov 24, 2022

  • I have worked with John in varying capacities for the past two decades. John generously imparted his knowledge, his expertise, his skills to everyone who surrounded him. Beyond his vast professional knowledge, he was kind, generous, patient and had a great sense of humour. He became a trusted confidant, advisor and dear friend. Thank you for everything. Rest easy, my friend. - Posted by: Karine (Co-worker) on: Nov 23, 2022
