John, husband of Marlene Mutch, passed away on November 23, 2022, after a nine-year struggle with Alzheimer's.
As per John's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will follow at a later date.

Dear Marlene, (Mrs Mutch), Kevin, Myra and extended families. I'm deeply saddened with the news of your loss. John became my first "Mentor". In the mid 70's John gave me my first job at the Shell Station when I was 14 years old. At that time I quickly realized that everyone loved John. His positive outlook and friendly demeanor were instantly noticeable. John made friends everywhere he went. Although I hadn't seen him for many years, I thought about him frequently. He had such a positive impact on my life as a young man I still find myself striving to "be like John", Friend to all, Loved by all. John will be dearly missed by all who knew him! Dear Marlene and Family, Sorry to hear about the loss of John. It has been and struggle and he is now at peace.
