DIANE EILEEN FUTROS
June 2, 1964 - December 10, 2022
It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Diane Eileen Futros, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and great-aunt. With her husband Ed and her family by her side, she left us peacefully on December 10, 2022, at the young age of 58, after a short but brave battle with cancer.
Di will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her husband and soulmate Ed Futros, her mother Bernice Beaulieu, brother Rick Beaulieu (Claire), sister Debbie Beaulieu, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too.
Diane was predeceased by her father Roland Beaulieu, father-in-law Ernie Futros, and nephew Tanner Beaulieu in heaven. We take comfort in knowing that Di will be reunited with each of them.
Family and friends were everything to Di, often being a mom to some and an aunt to many. We will miss her unwavering love and playful sense of humour immensely.
The family would like to thank the doctors and health care team at Selkirk Regional Hospital for their compassion and outstanding care for our beloved Diane.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17 at Saint Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 530 Donald Road, in St. Andrews, MB at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Tails of Freedom Animal Rescue.
Our lives go on without you
But nothing remains the same
We have to hide our heartache
when someone speaks your name
Sad are the hearts that love you
silent the tears that fall
living our lives without you
is the hardest part of all
You did so many things for us
Your heart was kind and true
and when we needed someone
we could always count on you
The special years will not return
when we were all together
But with the love within our hearts
You'll walk with us forever.
Di will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
