DENIS ALVIN HALLSON
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Denis Alvin Hallson on November 30, 2022 at the age of 83.
Denis will be sadly missed by his daughters, Jackie and Dale (Darren) and his grandchildren, Ryan, Branden, Stephanie and Steven. He was predeceased by his wife Carol; parents, Bertha and Eyvi and brother Gerry.
He started his career at City of Winnipeg Hydro, where he met the love of his life Carol. He then went to work at Social Services until he retired at the age of 50.
In his younger years, he spent his time curling with his brother Gerry. After his retirement, he spent his time at Moth Lake. He enjoyed the time he spent travelling with Carol to warmer places in the United States. His diagnosis of Parkinson's slowed him down over the last couple of years. Denis was a honest man. He told you what you needed to hear and was always there for his family if they needed him. He had a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by his family.
As per Denis' wishes, no funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Denis' name to Parkinson Canada.
