BRADFORD FRANKLIN RUMSEY
June 29, 1953 - December 6, 2022

After losing his second battle with cancer, Brad departed this existence quietly in his sleep on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Brad was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Violet (nee Mulvenny) Rumsey. Left to mourn and miss Brad are sister Linda (Brian) Yurkiw of Las Vegas, NV, nephews Jeffrey and Bradford Yurkiw of San Francisco Bay, CA, Uncle Barry Mulvenny, cousin/buddies Barb and Shannon, many other cousins and special friends Darlene, Trevor, Bill, and Betty.
After finishing school, Brad started working at Health Sciences Centre, and then later moved over to shipping and receiving at Seven Oaks Hospital. Brad had a unique brand of humour that lasted his entire journey through life and illness. His absolute favourite singer was Merle Haggard and Brad liked to be addressed as Hag and even named his cat Merle.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Riverview Palliative Care for his excellent care during his final week. There will be no service. In Brad's memory, please play a Merle Haggard song and sing along with gusto. So long Hag, thanks for the memories, and see you in the next life.
