It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald "Butch" Dewar on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the age of 69 years.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue.

To the Dewar Family, It was with great sadness that I learned of Butch's passing. In speaking with Larry Stephenson I had intended to be at his service yesterday as Larry could not be, but unfortunately I had to spend the day at the Grace Hospital with my Dad who himself, is about to pass. Please accept my reqrets for my inability to be there. Butch was a great guy and the Dewar family played such an important part at Atlas Graham that will never be forgotten. Indeed our current lunchroom on Sargent is named the "Dewar Lunchroom" in honour of your fine family. With the most sincere condolences of the Graham family and AGF. Butch was the kind cousin. He would always put others before himself. Whether it was to give someone a ride or take them to a Dr appt. Or even shopping. One of my earliest memories of Butch was always arriving at Grandma Dewars early in the morning to drive her to work. He would then wait for her to drive her home.
