ALISON FAYE KIRKLAND


Peacefully on December 31, 2022, Alison passed away at Riverview Health Centre to join her Mother and Father in heaven.
Alison was born on May 24, 1960 in Winnipeg to James and Ruth Kirkland. She attended Polson School, then was employed with WASO (Work and Social Opportunities) for over 30 years.
Ali will be missed by her brothers, Jim (Debbie) Kirkland, Les (Leanne) Kirkland, nieces, and cousins.
The family would like to sincerely thank Alison's many caregivers over the years and especially to the caring staff at Salvation Army-Community Ventures (at Macaulay Crescent and River Ridge II).
A celebration of Alison's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at The Salvation Army Living Hope Community Church, 51 Morrow Avenue, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alison's memory may be made to The Salvation Army Community Venture, 51 Morrow Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2M 1A5 or online at SalvationArmy.ca. and follow the links to Manitoba Community Ventures.

I boarded with Margaret & Wilf Anderson many years ago and remember us visiting Ruth on Greene Ave (St?) and meeting Ali at that time as well as you Les & Jim.
