Walter was one of the happiest people we have ever know. We have never seen him angry, and I knew him from elementary school. There was always a smile on his face. Over the years we were still in contact and we enjoyed his friendship. He will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy to you Lynne and your mom, Connie. He always spoke so highly of both you. We will all miss Walter. Sharon (Nelson) & Norm Melnychuk - Posted by: Sharon & Norm Melnychuk (Long time friend) on: Jan 18, 2023

I knew Walter for a couple of summers, but he left a lasting impression with me. Growing up in our patch of the north end, life was good. Our friendship was solid. Rest in piece my friend. - Posted by: Brian McElwee (School friend) on: Jan 16, 2023

Our Sisler High School Alumni group is very saddened with this news. Walter and I were team mates on the school's soccer team in 1969. Over the past few years our alumni group would meet for coffee and talk about the good old days. We will miss Walter's presence and gregarious nature. Condolences go out to his family. - Posted by: Bruno Malis (High School friend) on: Jan 15, 2023

My sincere sympathies Lynn. Walter had such a kind heart, great sense of humor and large presence. Oh and a great booming laugh and huge smile! Every financial decision he made, he made with you in mind. My thoughts are with you and your Mom at this hard time. - Posted by: Wendy Olson (Acquaintance) on: Jan 14, 2023
