• Jamie was my friend. Jamie was everyone's friend. He was kind and loving. He would do anything for anyone. If you had a business and you treated him well, he would go out of his way to help your business grow. He would tell the world about you. He would dine at your restaurant or use your services. He was just that kind of man. He would give you his shirt if you needed it. He was always looking out for everyone else. That is what kind of man Jamie was. Just a wonderful man. • My deepest condolences on the death of Jamie Almond. I taught Jamie Carpentry at Kildonan-East Collegiate during the 1970's. He was a mature person compared to his fellow students and I could talk to him on an adult level. He was always polite and had an excellent sense of humor. He was one of the good guys.
