RAJNI BALA CHOPRA
(KUMAR)
September 2, 1958 - March 16, 2023
It is with immense sadness we announce the passing of Rajni Bala Chopra (Kumar).
Rajni is predeceased by her parents Nirmala and Balwant Rai. Missing her is her husband of 40 years Pardeep, daughters Priya (Kevin) and Geeta (Sukait), grandchildren Nisha and Dev, as well as her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Rajni was born on September 2, 1958 in the Punjab province of India, the second oldest of seven children. She loved learning, and after becoming a star student in high school, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree, and later a Masters Degree in English Literature. Upon immigrating to Canada after her marriage, Rajni started attending evening classes at Red River College obtaining a Diploma in Accounting. Rajni had a varied and tenured career, with the last 10 years being at Intergroup Consultants, where she formed many valued friendships.
She was philanthropic, caring, kind, and fun loving. She enjoyed music, decorating, travelling, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family. She knew how to enjoy life even in the face of adversity. She was always brave and resourceful, and approached every situation with positivity.
Mom - we love you
and will miss you everyday.
We would like to thank Dr. of Naturopathy, Dr. Guillman, Dr. Abdul Rehman, as well as the nurses, staff and physicians on the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity that is dear to your heart.

Rajni was such a bundle of energy and so much fun to work with at InterGroup. While she was thorough and organized in her work, what I loved most about working with her was her sense of humour. She exuded such a joy for life!! She viewed every day as a gift. I will miss her, but will never forget her smile. - Posted by: Carla Pelletier Gray (Friend) on: Mar 20, 2023

I was saddened to hear of Rajni’s passing. My condolences to the family. I worked at InterGroup and always enjoyed working with Rajni. Her warm caring personality was ever present. She loved talking about what her girls were doing - their achievements and then their weddings. She has been missed these past months at work and will be missed in the future. Rest now… your earth’s journey is done. - Posted by: Nancy LeBlond (Colleague) on: Mar 18, 2023
