With heavy hearts, we announce that Gail passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023.
She is predeceased by her Mum and Dad; sister-in-law Theresa; brother Brian and her nephew Stuart. She is survived by her siblings, Don, George (Ruth), and Patricia; nieces and nephews, Don Jr., (Dawn); Kelly (Chris); Joshua (Sarah); Aileen (Aaron); Nathan (Ali); grandnieces and nephews, Brendin, Skye, Cameron, Ryan, Emma and Josephine; as well as the Stockburn and Cauz families.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at The Crescent Fort Rouge United Church at 525 Wardlaw Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0L9. For the health and safety of family and friends, please consider wearing a mask.

A bright light has been extinguished. I miss you so much, my dear friend. Your supreme diplomacy, your wise counsel, your hearty laugh. We shared so many memories over 54 years, trips and music, fine meals and fine wine and a few mishaps along the way. Your eternal and unwavering optimism was your steady guide throughout your life. Every life you touched was elevated. Your kind heart and generous spirit will be remembered by everyone who was privileged to know you. You made our lives better. Thank you for sharing so much of your life with me. Rest In Peace now. My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to all of Gail’s family and friends.
