Jake was predeceased by his parents, Sarah, Abram (Winnie), sisters, Sadie, Gwen, and his beloved wife Bonnie (2016).
Jake leaves to mourn him his son Aaron (Diana); grandkids, Harrison and Taylor; granddog Rezzy; brothers, Bill (Linda), Neil (Cecile), Abe (Corinne); sisters, Ann, Eleanor, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dad left home at a young age and moved to Winnipeg where he drove delivery truck for City Bread. He later worked at Abex, Selkirk Rolling Mill, Moore’s Plumbing, Sokey’s Plumbing and in 1985 began installing flooring for Curtis Carpets in Winnipeg. Dad loved sports, he played and coached both hockey and ball in Selkirk for years. He enjoyed golf, curling, camping and fishing. Him and Mom loved spending time with family and friends. They especially enjoyed their summers at Spruce Sands where they made many friends over the years there.
