March 15, 1945 - March 27, 2023
With sadness we announce the passing of Danny.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Vashti, of 41 years, her sister Sharda (Doug), niece Stacey-Leigh, as well as Vashti's other sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean Andre and Rachel.
Danny immigrated to Winnipeg from Switzerland in 1967 and worked as a Commodity Broker until 2005. He lived a full life, including his love of cycling until his accident in 2012. Our heartfelt gratitude to all the home-care workers who helped with Danny's care for the past 11 years.
There was never a dull moment with Danny. He was truly one-of-a-kind. Our many loving and funny memories will forever keep him close to our hearts.
A private ceremony with family will be held to honour his memory at a later date.
