GEORGIA KAMBAS
It is with heartbreaking sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Georgia Kambas at the age of 59 on April 2, 2023, after a 4-year battle with cancer.
Georgia was predeceased by her parents in Greece. She leaves behind her spouse, George; her children, Amelia (Carl), Chris and Michael; and granddaughter, Savina, along with her family back home in Greece.
We want to thank the doctors and nursing staff at St. Boniface Hospital palliative care unit for their extensive and loving care to our mother.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to CancerCare Manitoba.

It has already been 4 months since we last said goodbye to you, it feels like it’s been a year. There hasn’t been a day that’s passed when I don’t think of you. Yiayia I love you soo much ❤️ You will forever be missed and never be forgotten. You have been here with me holding my hand since the moment I took my first breath, and I was with you holding yours to take your last. 😔 For the first time in my life i know what it feels like and what it means to loose someone who means so much to you. Mom ♥️♥️I LOVE YOU ♥️♥️ So much! I learned what it feels like to be truly heartbroken the day you took your last breath in front of my eyes. I love you mom to the point where it hurts every time I think of you! You were a beautiful soul and left many prints on peoples heart that truly knew you.
