CARMINE GILBERTO
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and dear friend on March 30, 2023 at the age of 87. Carmine was predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Caterina; daughter Giuseppina; granddaughters Amanda and Isabella; parents Donato and Giuseppina and countless loved ones. Left to cherish his memory are his children Geri (Nick), Don (Laura), Rocchina (Mike), Gino (Amber), Rosa. Grandchildren Andy, Carmen, Cassandra, Adamo, Marchello, Marisa, Anthony, Julianna, Nicholas, Christina, Vincenzina, Caterina and Marco, Dominic; great-grandchildren Amelia, Ella and Theo, all of whom he adored. He also leaves to mourn his son-in-law Valentino, numerous relatives and extended family in Canada and Italy.
Funeral will be held at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave., on Tuesday April 11, 2023. Condolences will take place at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Resurrection to commence at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano as Celebrant. Entombment to follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Carmen Palombi, Anthony Gilberto, Marco Gilberto, Nicholas Gilberto and Adamo Ranieri, Marchello Ranieri.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carmine’s memory to Cancer Care Manitoba.
