  • I am sorry to hear Milly passed. Her and my mother, Mea, would have such silly arguments that made George and my dad laugh. I remember her and George so well. R.I.P. to both of you. Together again. My condolences to Jeff, Trish and family. ❤️❤️ - Posted by: Joanne Nielsen (Friend of family ) on: Jun 03, 2024

  • What a wonderful lady always with a smile...I moved into 25 Woodydell in 2015. Milly and Goerge where the first people on the street to come over and say hello and welcome me into the neighborhood. Their friendship was a true gift, and I appreciated their friendship since that first day. Milly had a positive outlook on life and didn't let the small stuff bother her too much. Milly would drop off a half dozen of her famous lemon scones and on very special occasions I would receive her drumstick frozen treat. Milly was one that couldn't sit still, always on the move with her walks twice a day or sometime in the garden or mowing the grass. My deepest sympathies go to Jeff and his family, she will be greatly missed... - Posted by: Dan Smith/Kathy Hill and family (Neighbour) on: Apr 20, 2023

  • She was my neighbour across the street from my parents all my life. A very chipper and warm person. She was a lovely lady and she will be missed. - Posted by: Ryan Palmquist (Neighbour) on: Apr 19, 2023

  • We were sorry to hear that Millie had died. We were fortunate to have lived across the street from Millie and George for over 30 years. We were always amazed by her energy and sunny personality. She spread joy out on her walks and greeting all who she ran into. She kept an eye on the neighborhood and for many years updated us on break ins and concerns. She created and distributed phone lists of people on the street so we would have that info just in case. One time she witnessed my son picking up garbage in the street and took it upon herself to tell his junior high school about it and that contributed to him getting a citizenship award. We will certainly miss her. Our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones Monica and Lorne - Posted by: Monica Palmquist (Neighbor) on: Apr 19, 2023

  • So sorry to hear this news. She was my favourite person and I will never forget the wonderful conversations we used to have on the corner by the mailboxes. She always stopped on her walks to talk with me and I loved seeing her. She was so full of life; energetic and just such a joy. I will miss you Millie Dewitt. Rest in peace lovely lady. - Posted by: Brenda Savilaakso (Friend) on: Apr 18, 2023
