Early morning of April 7, 2023, Wally peacefully passed.
Wally was born on November 6, 1934, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. He is survived by three sisters, children, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Growing up on a farm instilled his lifelong work ethic. His favourite job was a security guard in the 1980s. Employed at the Winnipeg Arena and Stadium, he was fortunate to meet and escort many celebrities. From recording artists to hockey and football players, and of course, professional wrestlers (he loved his wrestling).
Thank you to staff and management of Golden West Centennial Lodge for their care. Wally truly felt “at home” during his final years.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
