Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED ARMANN
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred Armann. Peacefully, and with his beloved wife Eva and family by his side, Alfred passed away in the early hours of April 13 in his 92nd year.
Alfred is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Eva; his children, Evelyn (Barry) and Vera (Jay); and his grandson Rory.
Alfred was born in the Böhmerwald region (Bohemian Forest) of Germany. He married Eva in May 1957 and shortly thereafter Alfred and Eva immigrated to Canada, settling in Winnipeg in May of 1958.
Alfred was a highly skilled master tradesman (painter) and a very talented artist, and he loved to spend time outdoors enjoying nature. He was never happier than when he was strolling through the forest, which reminded him so much of his childhood.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
