It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Parei. Mary passed away on April 27, 2023, at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. The family would like to thank the staff for all their care during her many years in residence there.
She is survived by her children, Linda, Catherine, William, Sylvia and Christopher and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are sisters, Clara and Katie and sister-in-law Helen. She will be greatly missed by numerous other relatives and close friends. She was predeceased by her husband Horst; granddaughter Jennifer; sisters, Anna (Peter) and Erna (Peter); brothers, Jacob (Tina) and George and brothers-in-law, Henry, Benno and Jacob.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Hwy. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S7.

Hugs to all of Aunt Mary’s family. As a child I loved to come to Winnipeg and visited relatives. I loved to stay at the Parei home with my cousins.
