SUZANNE JOHNSON
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Suzanne (Suzy) Johnson on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from cancer at the HSC Women's Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was surrounded by loved ones and had many close friends and family visiting in the days before she passed.
She is survived by her husband Curtis; her stepchildren, Cory (Cheryl), Lori (Cory); her beautiful grandchildren, Damien, Vivianna, Leland; her sister Jackie (Alan); sisters-in-law, Susie and Sheldon; several nieces and many great friends; some of whom are much more family than friends.
Suzy was predeceased by her father Dudley; mother Litta; sister Anita and brothers, George and Tim.
Suzy was a wonderful person who was invested in family and friends. People will not remember one large thing, but a million little things she did constantly for those she loved. She always had time for others whether it was to talk, help, or organize a get together. She was a caring person who made many friends quickly with her outgoing personality. She leaves behind many wonderful memories that will be cherished.
There will be a come and go Celebration of Life in June with details to come. If people wish, they can donate to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 in memory of Suzy.
