Friends and family of Gudmundur Brian Tomasson (February 19, 1942 - November 21, 2022) are planning to gather at 2:00 p.m. on Friday June 16, 2023 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
We will gather together that we may celebrate a life well lived, and in doing so share stories and memories. According to his wishes, Brian has been cremated and will rest beside his beloved wife Alys Finlay Tomasson in a family plot at Dundas, Manitoba. Hvili i fridi. A short reception will follow the service. Coffee, tea and sandwiches will be served. Many stories will be shared.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's Palliative Care Program, Riverview Health Centre or the Logberg-Heimskringla.
