Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with lung and heart disease, Jim passed with his wife by his side.
Jim is survived by his wife Mary; sons, Steven (Dawn), Corbin and Connor; Philip (Crystal); Jason (Michele), Tamara, Jayden and Jorja; sister Marion Stobert.
He was predeceased by his parents, Nellie and Joseph Symynyshen; brother Eddie; and sister Jean Piche.
Jim loved the farm but after his health issues he sold the farm and moved to the House of Hope in Arborg.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Ukrainian Catholic Church in Arborg, with interment at Silver Cemetery. Reception to follow at Silver Community Centre.
