VICTOR GEORGE TYPLISKI

May 24, 1931 - May 29, 2023

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our beloved 92 year old husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa on May 29, 2023. Victor passed away peacefully at the Betel Home five days after his 92nd birthday.



Victor leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Doreen, of 69 years, son Ron (Donna), daughter Caroline (Ben), daughter Connie (Norm), son Allen (Cyndi), seven grandchildren: Geoff (Lauren), Reed (Geeta), Christine (Russell), David (Kristin), Erin (Dave), Diana (Steve), Holly and five great-grandchildren: Greta, Eli, Emily, Jack and Jackson. Survived by sister, Adeline, one sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews.



Victor was predeceased by his parents and brother.

Victor was born and raised on the family farm, where he learned to work hard all his life. Victor was his father's right hand man.

Victor was a crane operator for the Manitoba Rolling Mills. He retired after 35 years of service. In their retirement years, Victor and Doreen enjoyed fishing, camping, travelling, visiting family and numerous activities at the Gordon Howard Centre.

Victor had many accomplishments in his 92 years: he was a great son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a Master Angler. He was a lifelong member of the Selkirk United Church.

One of Victor's many passions was his love of music. There wasn't an instrument he couldn't master. In 2008, Victor and Doreen moved to Kiwanis Garden, where Victor entertained at monthly dinner parties.

Thank you to Dr. Brown and the staff at the Betel Home for their loving care. Thanks to Gilbart Funeral Home and the Selkirk United Church with funeral arrangements and service. Victor was a fisherman and hunter who believed in conservation. If you wish, a donation can be made to Oak Hammock Marsh in Victor's memory.



Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held.

Peacefully, on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Selkirk Betel Home, Victor Typliski, aged 92 years, beloved husband of Doreen, passed away.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and private family service will be held.
