EDWARD WILLIAM (KEMENS) SEMENCHUK

July 22, 1941 - May 31, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather.

He is survived by his two daughters, Debra Thomlinson and grandson Devin; Angela Dale Asher (Sheldon) and grandsons, Joshua and Matthew; sister-in-law Linda Kehler (Albert); nieces, Julia (Jacob), Kathy (Scott); and great-nephews and nieces.

Dad was a fun loving, caring, hardworking man. He liked being outdoors, puttering around the yard and gardening.

He will be dearly missed by his friends at the Riverdale and Maxwell Colonies.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Agricultural Museum in Austin, Manitoba.

As per Ed’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private family committal will take place at the Austin Cemetery.

Clarke’s Funeral Home Gladstone - MacGregor in care of arrangements.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I would like to offer my sincere Sympathy and Condolences to Dale, Debbie and both your families. From the many phone calls I feel that Ed and I rekindled the friendship we as children established while visiting back and forth to our farms ….his parents Uncle Bill and Auntie Helen’s farm just south of Austin and ours just North of Austin .Growing up and raising our families came first for us both but I enjoyed Ed’s visits and the hospitality he showed on our visits since he moved back. He was very proud of his gardens and the produce he shared with many others. Ed also enjoyed the friendship with his neighbours. He will be sadly missed, please say goodbye for me. - Posted by: Rosemary Hulme (Cousin) on: Jun 10, 2023
