With sadden, empty hearts we regret to announce the passing of George Clayton Jackson, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on June 5, 2023 at the age of 92.
George was born December 29, 1930 at the Miami hospital and grew up just south of Rosebank. He was the only boy born to George and Vera Jackson and brother to sisters, Eileen, Jean, Ruth and Mae. Geordie spent his life committed to family, farm and community.
George married Donna Mae Moore on September 27, 1958. They raised four children: Brad, Lori, Warren and Joy.
Left to mourn his passing are his beloved wife of 64 years, Donna, son Brad (Sandra), daughter Lori (Dean), son Warren (Rae) and daughter Joy; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Monday June 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miami Community Center. Private interment at the Miami Cemetery.
