Patricia Anne passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Brandon Regional Health Center on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Pat was born on July 14, 1935, in Boissevain, Manitoba, and spent the first years of her life at the International Peace Gardens. Her education began in Cartwright, Manitoba and was completed in Brandon, Manitoba.



Pat was a dedicated member of the Ladies of the Brandon and District Shrine Club for over 50 years, where she actively contributed to fundraising and catering events. She was also an active member of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem for 37 years until they surrendered their charter. In 2008, Pat became a member of the Queen Mary Chapter No. 3 Order of the Eastern Star.



A kind, caring, and generous woman, Pat will be lovingly remembered by her son Scott and daughter-in-law Janice of Morden, brother Fred and sister-in-law Cecile Calverley of Calgary, sister-in-law Monique of Abbotsford, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousin, and close friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie “Bud” in 2020, her parents Orval and Anne Calverley, sisters-law Marie and Joan, and brothers-in-law Robert and David.



A private graveside service was held at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, a donation may be made to Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, Palliative Care, 150 McTavish Ave. East Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3 or a charity of your choice. The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Samarasena, Dr. Barron, and the Palliative Care Angels at the Assiniboine Centre for the kindness and care they provided our mother. A sincere thank you to Jeremy and the staff at Brockie Donovan for their compassion and assistance at this difficult time.
