I'm so sad to learn of Linda's passing. A good friend from my UU days in Winnipeg, we remained in touch by email after I moved to Edmonton many years ago. I have never known a kinder or more warm-hearted person than Linda. It was a privilege to know her and I will miss her. My condolences to Walter, Kellie and Roman, and to her other family members and friends. - Posted by: Debra Hathaway (Friend) on: Aug 15, 2023

Linda was a great friend to North Centennial Recreation and Leisure Centre and now Sergeant Tommy Prince Place establishing a "Simply Unique" program for persons with mobility issues that grew to not just a swim time but a social club, a sharing circle for advice, clothing, recipes, etc. We will miss her tremendous input and voice for change. Dear Walter Kellie & Roman, deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the sad passing of your dear mother and grandmother. We had a chance to connect a few years ago and catch up. Through our conversation I learned that she was fiercely independent and grateful for the support you provided to her so she could remain in her own home. She loved you all dearly. So very sorry for her sudden passing. Please know our thoughts are with you at this sad and difficult time.
