VANCE JEROLD MASTERS
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Vance Jerold Masters, with his family by his side, on June 22, 2023 at Grace Hospital, at the age of 77 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Beverley, daughter Krista, son Vance Jr, grandson Liam, sister Arlene Travis Patera (of Florida), nephew Gord Travis (of Vancouver) and niece Allison Smith (Steve) (of Washington).
Vance was a drummer with a long and celebrated career within the local and international music scene. To Vance's friends, your numbers are far too many to list all here. Know that he loved and treasured each one of you.
We express our deepest thanks to the doctors, nurses, and health care aides from the Intensive Care Unit at the Grace Hospital for the care and compassion provided to Vance and the family through his final days.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. His memorial service, open to all, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada - Manitoba Chapter.

How do I live without you? Oh my love, I do not. You are with me from the moment I open my eyes until they close. And even after that, on the plane of dreams where mortals and souls meet, you are with me still. I have not yet learned to live without you, and perhaps I never will. The truth of the matter is, you are always with me still. You walked such a blazing pathway, when your feet were on this earth, that your imprint lingers on and I place my own feet in your steps, one by one. How do I live without you? It’s really very simple. I do not. I have yet to live without you, Perhaps I never will. Perhaps the key to grief is, You are always with me still. - Posted by: Bev Masters (Wife) on: Jun 22, 2024

I was just made aware of Vance"s passing. I must extend my condolences to all who loved Vance! The drummers evolution is infinite beyond life itself. A pulse of existence WILL be felt if not heard What awaits the senses we do not yet possess? Might music still be our most willing companion and confidant? I believe Vance will hear God's music and even share stories with the Master! May you walk joyfully with God Vance. You lived your life well! - Posted by: Douglas Smith (A friend from the sixties.) on: Jul 11, 2023
