On Sunday June 11, 2023, Ron passed away peacefully at home following a four year battle with cancer, never losing his positive outlook, his love of family and friends and his keen interest in cars, collecting antiques and going to auctions.
Throughout his life Ron was a person everyone could count on for help, support, and kindness. He was most happy spending time at the cottage; when he found the right guitar, the perfect part for one of his many vehicles, the odd pop bottle or what not that brought him a smile or whenever he could take on a project to make something better as he enjoyed his career as an all-around handyman.
Ron was predeceased by his beloved parents, Norman and Barbara, and leaves behind his daughter, Brittany, Aunt Jean and cousins in the United States, and two loving dogs, Sierra and Hiccups.
Cremation has taken place and at Ron’s request, there will be no funeral service.
