  • My condolences to the family of Joe. I knew Joe and Louise many years ago and I was glad of their friendship. I first met Joe and Louise at the Lakeside Camp in the late 1960's. They wre campers and I was working as a counsellor. Both had a great sense of humour, were great advocates within the disability community. I have missed visiting with Louise and now Joe.at Riverview. May they rest in peace together. - Posted by: Clare Simpson (Friend) on: Jul 22, 2023

  • We met Joe as well at power wheelchair Hockey. Joe and wife Louise were combatants as well as teammates. They contributed to the wonderful hockey culture and made it alway a fun experience. You are now reunited take it easy on each other in the corners up there. The Macs (Keith, Sandy & Derek) - Posted by: Sandy McLennan (Friend ) on: Jul 22, 2023

  • So very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We met Joe & his wife Louise when they signed up for Power Wheelchair Hockey years ago when our son Tyler was also playing on one of the teams. Both Joe & Louise loved being part of a team, and sometimes being opponents against each other. Joe always had a big smile and an infectious laugh. Condolences to the family. Now together with Louise, Rest in Peace Joe. - Posted by: Cec, Rick & Tyler Barrett (Friends through Power Wheelchair Hockey) on: Jul 15, 2023
