Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLIOTTE ELIZABETH CHRISTA STEINBORN
We are devastated to announce the sudden and tragic passing of our precious Elliotte Elizabeth Christa on July 4, 2023.
She is already missed tremendously by surviving members of the family including her mother and father, Erin and Mike, her sister, Pari, both sets of her grandparents, Keith and Carol Parry, and Georg Steinborn and Jutta Kreber and her son Oliver, her Aunt Tamara and Uncle Nathan, along with many second Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. She was also a beloved member of an overwhelming community of cherished friends who have become family to us, and she will be missed dearly by them. Additionally, we would like to acknowledge the extensive group of friends through school, dance and the community that Elliotte had, who always provided support and love. Elliotte’s spirit and soul are now together with her Oma Christa, and we find comfort in knowing that she is surrounded by great-grandparents and other loved ones, who have predeceased her.
Elliotte was born in Winnipeg, February 17, 2009, and after a few years living in the Riverbend area, moved to be raised in West St. Paul, Manitoba. At an early age she possessed determination and focus, choosing to play with the buckles and straps from her highchair rather than her baby toys. As parents we tried to harness those talents into sports, desperately hoping for a soccer star but we realized very quickly when she was the only child doing downward dog on the field, sports weren’t for her. Soon after, we registered her for dance and she excelled immediately. Over the years, we’ve been honoured and privileged to watched her grow from a spunky and confident little sprite into the graceful, mature and powerful dancer she was. We will forever cherish the opportunities we had to watch her perform, whether in the living room, backyard, or on the stage.
Elliotte had recently graduated from grade 8 from Ecole Seven Oaks Middle School. She was also preparing to start her first real job, working a few days a week over the summer to earn spending money and to start saving for a car. Although she never quite defined her future, she had a keen eye for design and accurate sense of space, coupled with a unique problem-solving mind, and a hard work ethic that could have led to many various successful lifelong paths.
Elliotte’s gentle, kind, warm and accepting heart naturally welcomed the presence of many friends in her life. She never wanted anyone to feel lonely or excluded and did her best to make those around her feel welcome and comfortable. We encourage you to honour her by doing the same when given the opportunity. Her bright soul will forever be remembered and cherished by all. Elliotte, we’ll always love you more…
A private viewing and memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
To acknowledge and invite all of those wishing to honour Elliotte’s memory, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Access Center (previously known as Sunova Center), located at 48 Holland Rd., West Saint Paul, MB, on Sunday July 30, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We encourage guests to wear Elliotte’s favourite colour pink or other bright colours to honour our sweet girl.
In lieu of flowers, Elliotte’s family ask that guests donate to the Childrens Hospital Winnipeg, or Crisis Support Klinic Manitoba.

I just found out that Elliot died and my condolences to the family.. I didn’t know her personally but when I would see her at school we would say hi. She had a smile that could light up a room. I am always going to be inspired by her because she was always a great role model and made me smile when she smiled at me… Rest in peace - Posted by: Madeline (A girl who looks up to her) on: Mar 24, 2024

Elliotte was my best friend who was there for me at all times; she invited me to sit with her and work with her when I was by myself. Her laugh and smile was contagious, and simply her presence made people happy. She was the most beautiful, happy, outgoing and caring person I ever had the chance to meet. To elliotte, I hope we meet again someday in heaven and I will try to continue to spread around your positivity. My condolences to the family 🩷🕊️ - Posted by: Tachie (B) on: Jul 19, 2023

We both had the pleasure of working with Carol at Rossmere Golf course over many years. We never got the chance to meet Elliotte but she sounds like a wonderful human being that left this earth way to early . If she was anything like the Carol we know which it sounds like she was, its a very sad day. Rest in Peace Elliotte - Posted by: Shirley and Wayne Ostrowski (co-workers and friends) on: Jul 16, 2023

Elliotte was like a little sister to me when I was growing up across the street at my grandparents place in West St Paul. I used to love coming over and babysitting her and Pari. Between cucumber sandwiches, playing Barbie’s and watching Disney movies along with Elliottes cheeky little jokes, it was never a dull moment. She will be forever missed, your family is in my heart during this tough time. What a sweet girl she was. - Posted by: Brianna (Neighbour) on: Jul 16, 2023
