DELFIN SAGUINSIN
With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we share with you the passing of our beloved father, Delfin Saguinsin on July 15, 2023, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He is now laid to rest with his loving wife, Lolita Reyes Saguinsin and is survived by his children, Elfie, Susan (Leo), Elisa, Delfin Jr. (Rosy), Perla, Erlinda (Arthur), and Dante (Loida). He leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Caesar (Linda), and daughter, Belma.
Delfin was born on December 24, 1933, in Angono Rizal, Manila, Philippines. Delfin was an avid fisherman and farmer in the Philippines, before he immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on May 11, 1989. He learned English by watching the Weather Channel every day and was an Industrial Worker and Factory Worker before his years of retirement. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his wife and family.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is a man who provided for his family, even after a long day of work, he never gave up on his family. He will be remembered for his teasing jokes, his lessons, his advice, his entertaining stories, and his singing. Memories with him will forever be cherished and kept alive.
A private service will be held.
