On May 26, with his mother by his side, Michael passed away after losing his battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his mother Margaret; sister Mavis (Miles); nieces, Brittney (Nahom) and Julie (Brett); great-niece Layla; great-nephews, Liam and Leighton, aunts, uncle, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in the Eriksdale Recreation Centre. An interment to be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank John and Karen Gray of Arnason Funeral Home for the arrangements, the nurses and doctors at the Selkirk and Ashern Hospitals and the MMF for all their help.
