Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My sincerest condolences to Dale's family. I grew up with Dale in Seven Sisters Falls and Gillam...and other "Hydro" towns. Seems our paths were always crossing all our lives. Most memorable was Dale's early life in Seven Sisters and as kids will be, he dared me to lick the frosty fence post at the playground. Of course I took his challenge and, well...you know the outcome of that one! Thanks for the fun memories Dale, may you be out of pain now. - Posted by: Judi Peristy (Muncer) (friend) on: Aug 01, 2023

  • My Sincere Condolences to Dale's family. I had the pleasure of working and getting to know Dale at Jenpeg. He was a superb mechanic/station operator/senior mechanical lead. He always approached any job no matter how big or how small methodically and with professionalism. Very humble but dedicated to his family. It was an honor to know him - Posted by: Richard Frost (Fellow co worker) on: Jul 24, 2023

  • Best Mechanical person I have ever worked with. He will be sadly missed for his abilities as a master machinist and a very intelligent millwright. Rest easy my friend. You put up a courageous battle And I will always cherish the good times and the bad we had in Gillam and Jenpeg. Finally no more pain. To his family, Especially his three lovely daughters Karen and I send our deepest sympathy 🙏. - Posted by: Brian Denis Cinq-mars (Friend, co worker for 35 years) on: Jul 22, 2023

  • My husband Al worked up in Jenpeg with Dale for years, what a kind person, always with a smile on his face. We are so sorry for his family with the loss of Dale. Just remember all the wonderful times you had together and what a terrific Dad you had for so many years. - Posted by: Al and Corie Siddle (friends) on: Jul 22, 2023
