LOVINA GREEN
Peacefully with family by her side, Lovina passed away at the age of 98, on June 30, 2023 at Selkirk Betel Home.
Predeceased by her twin sister, Elizabeth, husbands, Walter McPhail, Robert Cox, and Michael Green, children, Dennis (Melinda), Barbara, Rob (Mary), and Doug. Survived by daughters-in-law, Cathy and Carolyn, son-in-law Randy (Ramone), eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Lovina was born in Gary, Indiana and her family moved to Selkirk at a young age. She had numerous jobs until she began her career at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre as an occupational therapist.
Lovina enjoyed travelling, playing crib, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Legion, life member at the Army and Navy, and enjoyed her outings with the Knoxettes.
The family would like to thank the staff at Selkirk Betel Home for their care and compassion over the last five years.
Celebration of Life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Selkirk on July 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in memory to the Knox Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
